Like many, I turned to harsh, stripping products and aggressive treatments in hopes of “fixing” my skin — often causing more issues in the process. That experience shaped the way I approach skin today: with a focus on supporting the skin barrier, and working with your skin rather than against it. After graduating high school, I enrolled in esthetics school and began building my career in luxury hotel spas, wellness clubs, and holistic skincare studios throughout the Seattle area. In 2022, my husband and I relocated to Boise and shortly after, KOPRIVA Skin Studio was born. What started as a leap into the unknown has grown into a space dedicated to slowing down, reconnecting, and caring for skin in a more meaningful way. My continued education has taken me across the United States and Europe, where I’ve trained extensively in anatomy-focused facial massage, lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, and sculpting techniques. These modalities are integrated into my treatments to support healthy skin function, improve circulation, release tension, and create results that feel as good as they look. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries.
